I decided to become a career consultant because I wanted to work more closely with people. My deep belief is that the relationship between my client and myself is a sacred trust. I feel joy when I experience on of my clients being launched on a career path that is meangful and right for them. I know that every person has gifts and talents to give back to the world.

In addition, I have an expertise in ADD/LD issues in the workplace. Every year, I attend the CHADD conference and keep current with recent research and literature.

I derive a lot of satisfaction from connecting people with resources. I worked for several years as a reference librarian at Alumnae Resources/lifeprint in San Francisco.

For ten years, I was the image researcher for Joseph Campbell's Transformation of the Myth Through Time as well as other documentaries shown on PBS. Moreover, I did image research for films, lectures and books for various publishers e.g. Harper San Francisco, The Hero's Journey and Brian Swimme's The Story of the Universe. I like to incorporate images, myths, poems and/or quotes into my counseling when I feel that it is appropriate for the client.

My approach to career development is client-centered, eclectic and holistic. I believe that the whole person comes to see me: their spirit, their intellect, their emotions and their body.
